Symbolism In Dreams
Dream Interpretation
Every dream, whatever it seems to be on the surface, has
some theme that runs through it. With some dreams, this theme
is quite obvious while with some others, it is well-hidden and
needs some amount of reflection. However, one thing holds true
– if a proper dream interpretation is to done, it is necessary
to get at this theme.
Symbolism in Dreams
In most dreams, the theme can be understood by looking at
the symbolisms present in them. A dream that shows the person
flying may be a reflection of the fact that the person has
achieved some success recently or has found freedom from
something that was nagging them. A dream showing the person
sleeping could be an indicator that the person is very tired
and needs to rest longer.
Metaphorical Dream Interpretation
There are many indirect motifs present in dreams that can be
interpreted. Seeing a bird in a dream is considered to be a
symbol of liberty and seeing a snake is considered to be a
manifestation of some inner fear. There are personal
motifs that can be interpreted too. If you see your
computer in a dream, it might mean that you are thinking
too much about work, or probably, getting in touch with
someone through email.
When you see a dream, it is important that you recognize
these symbols in your dreams. Sit and recollect. The symbols
will tell you what the theme of the dream is.
Premonitions and Symbolism
A lot of the attraction of knowing about dreams is in
finding out whether the dream is a premonition in some manner.
Though there is no confirmation that premonitions do occur,
there have been uncanny cases in which such evidences are
found.
In most cases, people see what they think is a premonition
and then they act accordingly. Because of that, the premonition
becomes true. This is what lends most of the veracity to dream
premonitions.
